One of the highpoints of my last trip to Paris was meeting and shooting a portrait of
French popstar Emma Shapplin for L'officiel (Russia). She was one of those rare examples
of an artist that truly does things her own way, eschewing the obvious, and sticking to
her own eccentric vision. I also directed a video interview with Emma which is being
featured on Seductively French.

It's actually a line from a Smiths song...in it Morrissey kind of chides someone for their constant plagiarist tendencies, and refers to himself as someone "with a big nose..who knows" as someone who will know better and bust them for plagiarism. When I started this blog, I was initially only going to use it to post pictures who bore a striking resemblance to other, prior, pictures. Its a hobby of mine, as someone who loves looking at pictures, taking pictures, thinking about pictures, to note blatant copy cats for my personal sh*& list
